hello haha narf – Jane Eyre. It is part of some 100 Greatest Books set I subscribed to for a while. I only got about eight books and the only two that I actually ever removed from their plastic wrap were this one and Moby Dick. Of those two, the only one I’ve read is Moby Dick. Looks like this is the set. Of the others, the ones I remember seeing on the shelf are Huckleberry Finn and The History of Early Rome.

OMG, my parents had that set back in the day. That’s the version Jane Eyre I read!

Finn – I guess I should really consider those books when I’m looking for reading material. Moby Dick just wore me out. Of course, that must have been like five years ago so I should probably get over it.

While you noticed I went rogue with my angle, I just noticed that you went our “traditional” way with it!

Finn – It comes natural. I’m amazed that I still don’t think about it when framing the shot. By now, you’d think I couldn’t help but be self-conscious about it. 🙂

Jane Eyre is actually a great book, once you get used to the style of writing!

I loved both photos. If you don’t mind me asking, what’s your camera of choice sir? All the photos you take are really good.

Kevin Spencer – Thanks. I’m currently using a Canon 40D, with occasional shots from a Canon SX200 IS. Recent shots are with the 24-70 f/2.8 lens.

By the way, I typically preserve the EXIF data from the camera on all of my images. I use a Firefox plugin, FxIF, that allows my to simply right-click on an image and select Properties and it will show the base EXIF data (which sadly doesn’t include the specific lens). I installed this plugin primarily to check other’s EXIF data, but I’ve found that most people do not seem to preserve it on publish.

Ooooh, I’ve not heard of the FxIF plugin before. I’ll give it a whirl. Thankies.
