I had my first $100 fill-up today, primarily because I ran the truck nearly out of gas. Paid $3.93 per gallon, which I don’t think is the highest I’ve paid for regular unleaded.

I’ve tried. But the pumps keep stopping at $85, presumably due to the pre-authorization limits.
$4.20 (premium) * ~20 gallons and the Durango still isn’t completely full.
The Mustang’s tank is smaller (usually put in 11-12 gallons) so I don’t hit the limit.
I’ll be blogging soon about how my attempts at starting to ride the bus to work turn out. I think I’ll start this week once I get a route mapped.

Yes, I’ve encountered lower limits before, and did in fact encounter a limit at $100 this time (I even had to use a different card to get the last $1.25 worth).
I didn’t realize that the newer Durangos wanted premium — my old-style Durango was fine with regular. I do put premium in the Infiniti (M35), but it only has a 15 or 16 gallon tank, so it also hasn’t been as much.
