Having all irons the same length sure does sound like it would lead to more consistent swings….

(Edited to change “link” to “length”, which makes much more sense, I expect.)

    So I wonder why they made clubs different lengths in the first place? Maybe so you’d get a more consistent yardage spread from iron to iron? (That is, so you’d a 3-iron 200 and a 4-iron 190 etc).

    Still, would be awfully fun to try these …

    The FAQ on that web site says that it happened when they started mass-producing steel shafts. They were not custom built so they made the lengths vary so that a given golfer would have at least some clubs near the optimum length.

    Sounds doubtful to me….
